La Verne Bergstrom, East Wenatchee, recently retired from the Washington Apple Commission and has taken on a new challenge as an Executive Assistant at AgriFresh. La Verne is a quilter, a grandmother, and loves to refinish furniture.

 

Courtney Buehn, in high school in Wenatchee, participates in voice choirs and two handbell groups in her church, is a straight A student, and plans to study librarianship at Washington State University. She is passionate about playing handbells.

 

Dawn File lives in Leavenworth and works at Bavarian Lodge front desk. She enjoys greeting and helping guests. Her hobbies include computers and graphic design. The newest addition to her family includes a pair of Chihuahua puppies.

Esther Gregory lives in East Wenatchee and is a primary school teacher. She and brother Ivan were the children of missionary parents and spent their childhood in Africa.

 

Ruth Hulll, Wenatchee, moved here over three years 

ago from San Diego, and is a wife, mother of four, and grandmother of ten. She is active in both church music and bible study.

Nancy Marsh, Cashmere, has been a Marlin Ringer for many years. She is an Occupational Therapist working 
in the field of generic rehabilitation. In addition she is a candidate for the Priesthood in the Episcopal Church.

 

 

Linda Read is a former flight instructor, retired manager 
of a large anesthesia practice, mother of three grown 
and gone kids, and lives in Wenatchee.

 

Our newest ringer, Ivan Bowman, has lived in many 
far- away places including Laos and Nigeria. He 
currently lives in Wenatchee, is a member of the Columbia Chorale and is also a bell ringer in The Sunnyslope Church.

 

Dick Rieman is a retired airline pilot, orchardist, and 

is involved in environmental projects to help save the planet for the rest of us to enjoy.

 

 

Tina Rieman is a retired ski instructor, works in 

graphic design, and loves skiing, hiking, kayaking 

and anything outdoors. Dick and Tina moved to Leavenworth 30 years ago and joined the Marlin 

Handbell Ringers.

 

 

Karen Strom, Leavenworth, is a retired computer programmer. She keeps busy with various volunteer projects, skiing, hiking, gardening and bell ringing
